America West Arena
US Airways Center (formerly known as America West Arena) is a major sports and event arena located at 201 E Jefferson Street in downtown Phoenix. Since 1992, the arena (also called the Purple Palace) has been the home of the Phoenix Suns, its biggest draw. US Airways Center is also home to the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, an arena football tema called the Arizona Rattlers and the Arizona Sandsharks, a CISL team. The arena seats over 18,000 for basketball games.
Inside the arena, visitors will encounter the Casino Arizona Pavilion, an entrance which features a giant television screen. The Bud Light Paseo (and Bud Light Bar within) serves as a terrific entertainment venue. The Lexus Club and Verve Energy Lounge are places to enjoy the game in style. For the kids, there is the Jungle, where children get to play with the Suns mascot. There are also team merchandise shops and a Starbuck’s inside.
Ticket prices vary. Tickets can be purchased online or at the arena box office. 900 parking spaces are available to customers at the arena. There is also a 1500-space garage located next door.
