Silver Dollar City, an amusement park, is huge, and one of the main attractions in the city of Branson, Missouri.
Branson, Missouri, is a city named for Rueben Branson, who founded the general dealer that started development on the city in the first place. It’s in the Ozarks area of Missouri, and the permanent residents number a little over six thousand.
One of the biggest attractions in Branson is Silver Dollar City, an amusement park, but one that’s so large, you’ll spend at least two days exploring. If you’re not travelling with kids, or you’re looking for some grown up entertainment, then the casinos are a great place to spend some time, or you can tour the largest Titanic museum in the world.
Taking a trip on the Branson Belle, a river boat at Table Rock Lake is another popular choice, or you might like to ‘Ride the Ducks’ – take a drive around town in WW2 amphibious craft, followed by a dunk in the water.
The Ramada Limited in Branson is a good choice of hotel, but there are top of the line local luxury hotels like the Big Cedar Resort on offer too.
