The city of Ningbo is near the East China Sea on the northeast coast of the Province of Zhejiang. Ningbo's tropical atmosphere and historical sites makes it an ideal vacation spot.

Another exceptional structure in Ningbo, is the Baoguo Si, which is the oldest entirely wooden structure in China and held together without a single nail. Learn about the history of Ningbo in the city's museums such as the Ningbo Costume Museum inside the Moon Lake Scenic Area and the Ningbo Art Museum. The Hongjia Art Gallery is also an interesting visit. The Asoka Temple is one of the most prominent of the city's cultural relics. It is one of the 'Five Mountains' of Buddhism in China. Another local Buddhist sanctuary is Tiantong Temple, which lies at the foot of Taibai Mountain and contains over 720 uniquely structured buildings, each subtlety decorated and finely designed. Ningbo is blessed with the beautiful natural scenery of the Siming, Xikou Xuedou and Tiantai Mountains, each boasting scenic spots which contains numerous peaks, rock formations and waterfalls. Another great place for relaxing is the Nanxi Hot Spring.
