Kos is host to numerous religious celebrations like Epiphany, Greek Orthodox Easter celebrations, the Feast of Aghios Georgios, the Feast of the Assumption and Mastihari's Feast of Aghios Ioannis. Secular festivals include Hippocrateia Festival, Wine Festival, International Day of Tourism and Winter Festival among others.
