Homewood Suites Company Overview
Homewood Suites has a formal name of Homewood Suites by Hilton. It is an extended stay all-suites property that is located in the United States. This particular chain has over 240 hotels, with an additional 135 in development. They are independently owned and operated. Homewood originally began in 1989, with its flagship hotel being in Omaha, Nebraska. Zagat awarded Homewood with the Best Value Hotel Chain for leisure and business travelers in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Homewood Suites by Hilton is part of Hilton Worldwide, which owns Collection, Doubletree, Conrad Hotels, The Waldorf Astoria, Embassy Suites, Denizen Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites and Hilton Grand Vacations. Homewood Suites Product Line Overview
The suites are known for their complimentary Suite Start breakfast and their Welcome Home evening reception. Many of the properties have a swimming pool, business center, meeting rooms, valet, news stand, coin laundry and convenience store. The suites feature a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, living area, high speed internet access, telephone, and television.
All Hilton brand franchises are regularly inspected by the Hilton Quality Assurance Team in order to guarantee guests consistent quality and services. The Homewood Suites offers guests the Hilton HHonors rewards programs, which provides points for qualifying stays which can later be redeemed for discounts and upgrades.
