 The United States of America also known as the US, USA or America is best known as one of world’s leading country and tourist destination. The country includes 50 states and a federal district which include the Hawaiian Islands and the state of Alaska. The United States is located on the Continent of North America and is bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the west, the Atlantic Ocean in the east and the Central American and Canadian mainlands in the south and north respectively. The country also possesses several territories in the Caribbean and Pacific.

Due to its large land size, the United States boasts several climatic types. There is the tropical maritime environment of Florida and Hawaii making them ideal summer destinations while in the east, the climate ranges from humid continental in the north to humid subtropical in the south. The Great Plains and Basin display an arid climate, California and the west coast have a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere and coastal Oregon and Washington, southern Alaska enjoy an oceanic climate.
